Special Permission for Late Admission Applications

Program: One-Year Diploma in Cyber Security

The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL), Quaid-i-Azam University, successfully concluded the admission process for the One-Year Diploma in Cyber Security on the notified closing date. However, the Directorate has subsequently received a large number of requests from prospective applicants who, due to various genuine reasons, could not submit their applications within the prescribed deadline.

Keeping in view the interest shown by aspiring learners, the Directorate has decided to consider requests for late admission on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the competent authority.

Procedure for Seeking Special Permission

Candidates who wish to apply after the closing date are required to submit a formal request addressed to The Director, Directorate of Open and Distance Learning
Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.  The request may be emailed to odl@qau.edu.pk.

Each request will be examined individually, and permission to submit a late application shall be granted only after obtaining the approval of the competent authority. Grant of such permission shall not, by itself, confer any right to admission, which shall remain subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, availability of seats, scrutiny of documents, and completion of all admission requirements.

Deadline for Late Admission Requests
  • The last date for submitting requests for late admission is July 27, 2026
  • No request for late admission shall be entertained after this date under any circumstances.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants seeking admission must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
